Park Place, as it name suggests, is set in a handsome, 10-acre wooded location that straddles the Springfield/Chicopee city line.
It is comprised of eight buildings set into the sloped terrain to take advantage of the surrounding wooded views and to minimize visual impact to the neighborhood.
Half of the land is reserved as a conservation easement to provide permanent open space for the neighborhood.
Exterior materials and landscaping were chosen to complement the surroundings.
Five different models were offered -- three townhouse styles, and two garden styles.
Each building contains either six or eight dwelling units.
